Disseminated Workshop on "Promoting Digital Awareness, Skills and Adoption for Cambodian Citizens"

Phnom Penh: On March 28, 2024, from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at the Business Development Center, the Digital Economy and Business Committee organized a dissemination workshop on "Promoting Digital Awareness, Skills and Adoption for Cambodian Citizens", was presided over by Mr. Haing Sok Serey, Director of Project Innovation and Development department of the General Secretariat of Digital Economy and Business Committee, highly representing H.E. Dr. Kong Marry, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Secretary General of the General Secretariat of the Digital Economy and Business Committee. This workshop was attended by managerial leaders and representatives of various associations, enterprises, and universities in Cambodia with 100 participants. 

This disseminated workshop was organized for three main purposes: (1). promoting the awareness of digital technology, innovation, skills, and essential uses of digital adoption, (2). gathering practical perspectives from many real-world use cases shared by professional experts, and entrepreneurs including early digital adapters and leaders, (3) connecting and building a digital business community and ecosystem in Cambodia.

The workshop process highlighted the importance of disseminating necessary digital knowledge and the importance of developing digital skills for the Cambodian people, youth, and entrepreneurs to deepen awareness and promote capacity building in the essential uses of digital technologies for maximum benefit. Implement business operations to increase labor productivity more effectively and contribute to the development of the economy and digital business in Cambodia.

As a result, this disseminated workshop proceeded smoothly and successfully achieved the expected outcomes, and also received valuable input by sharing ideas, innovations, and practical experiences from distinguished speakers and participants.
